Using the site

This website and the Library are for research, education and remembrance. You may read, quote and cite what is published here, following Copyright, Licensing and Cultural Rights.

What you must not do

• Copy the Library in bulk, or collect its contents by scraping or automated tools.
• Copy, share or publish restricted material, or material you can see only because of your role.
• Use any record to identify, locate, harass or harm a person, family or community.
• Try to reach records, accounts or systems you are not allowed to use.
• Send false records or pretend to be someone else.

Members, contributors and other signed-in users

• Keep your sign-in details private, and use two-step sign-in where it is required.
• Respect the access level of every record, and the decisions of the Council of Guardians.
• Submit only records you have the right and the consent to share.
• Tell us at once if you think your account has been misused, at security@natakaresearchinstitute.org.

Suspending accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or to protect a person at risk. Where it is safe to do so, we will tell the account holder why.
